Great Snow Wolf, Snow Fenrir, and Red Dusk / Red Star / Red Wind Strider

Members of a clan that is in possession of a Rune or Aden Clan Hall can exchange their normal Wolf or Strider for a Clan Hall one. All they have todo is speaking to the Clan Hall Gatekeeper located outside the clan hall. A Great Wolf can be envolved into a Great Snow Wolf. A Fenrir turns into a Snow Fenrir, and Striders may be exchanged for a Red Star Strider, Red Dusk Strider or Red Wind Strider.

The Great Snow Wolf, Snow Fenrir and Red Striders possess unique skills that ordinary pets do not – the Great Snow Wolf can already be mounted at level 55. Their defense and mounted moving speed are higher than those of normal – non Clan Hall obtained – pets. At level 70 the Striders moving speed inreases from 172 to 177.

If a player looses access to a Clan Hall the obtained pets cannot be used, but they can be exchanged again for the previous pets through the Pet Trader Mickey NPC in the Towns of Aden and Rune Township.

1) This one-time quest which can be picked up at level 76 starts with Trader Weber at the Magic Shop in Rune. Attribute Master Yang is a regular customer in the Magic Shop, but lately he didn’t stop by any more. This has Weber quite worried that something might have happened to the old man. Weber says that you, being a highly skilled warrior, should go and help Yang. Find Yang and talk to him.

2) Attribute Master Yang is standing somewhat hidden in the northern part of the Rune Commercial District. When you talk to him, he will tell you that during an experiment on wind spirits, the so-called "Sprites", the magical power got out of control and the Sprites fled. Agree to catch the escaped Sprites of Air.

3) To catch the Reckless Sprites of Air, Yang will hand you a mysterious sword. On this sword he has bestowed an Earth Attribute of 10 which is helpful for overcoming the Wind Attribute of the Sprites.

Your task is to collect 6 Wind Pieces from the Reckless Sprites whom you will find some distance north of Rune Township. To acquire the quest item you must hit the Sprites with Yang’s sword before they die. But at level 76 you might already have a much better S-Grade weapon. You can use this first, then for the last few hits change to the sword you were given. Yang’s sword is a shadow item with a duration of 10 minutes. You must collect 6 quest items within those 10 minutes. If you should not succeed in doing this, don’t despair. Simply return to Yang, get a new sword and try again.

4) Back in Rune, when you give Attribute Master Yang the Wind Pieces, he apologizes and asks you to go once more. It’s the same procedure again – head out of town, direction north, and collect 6 Wind Pieces from the Reckless Sprites.

5) When you return again, Yang will finally give you your reward: 202,160 exp, 20,375 SP and 2 Crude Attribute Stones. The most important thing however are the Rough Ores, a kind of non-tradeable Attribute Stone. Yang will ask you what kind you want, and when you click on the link for Holy, Dark etc., you will get 2 of those Attribute Items.

Source:
www.playforum.net/line…mp;query=+

Before you start on the Coral Garden instance you must kill quite a number of [Dark Water Dragons] and everybody in your party must obtain at least one, better 2 or 3 Water Dragon Scales. Apart from that each party member needs a Contaminated Crystal from the [Dark Cloud Mansion] and all together need about 30 Crystal Fragments from Eva’s Gift Boxes in the lake under Parnassus. Get the Kiss of Eva buff (or take a dose of Bless of Eva) and attack the Gift Boxes at the bottom of the lake. With a certain probability you will get those Crystal Fragments. The whole party needs about 30 of them, to be used later on in the instance.

While in the [Steam Corridor] you need Fire resist buffs, in the Coral Garden resistance against Water attacks is required. The Coral Garden is a vast space, with lots of places where you can sit down and rest, so Dance of Shadow is not that important. There is also plenty of time for the instance, which makes for a more relaxed pace. But the monsters in the Coral Garden are significantly stronger than in the Steam Corridor, especially the single-target Water Cannon attack and the AoE Water Wall can create serious damage. In addition, those monsters have a tough hide; dispatching of one takes noticeably longer than in the other instances. Therefore make sure that your party consists of people who can unleash sufficient destructive power, classes with high HP and high M.Def., as well as a mage who can cast Silence. Classes which have not that much blood in them are at a serious disadvantage in the Coral Garden; by taking up a lot of the attention and MP of the Healer they are even putting the whole party at risk. Even top jewelry can’t provide enough M.Def. to save an Archer in there.

Now, first dive down to the Crystal Caverns entrance and enter. Everybody’s Contaminated Crystal will be consumed. From this point on you have 90 minutes, after that the instance will vanish. Within those 90 minutes the party members are free to leave and reenter the instance. You can for example use a Blessed Scroll of Escape in a tight spot, regroup and rebuff and then come back to resume the fight. But keep in mind that 20 minutes after the whole party has left, the instance will also vanish. So either leave one person in there or make sure that you are back within 20 minutes.

After you have entered the Crystal Caverns, talk with the Oracle Guide and ask it to open the door to the Coral Garden.

For the Coral Garden there is no need to kill monsters to obtain a key. You can directly enter. Your first task is to clean out all the monsters in the main room, which is easier said than done. The monsters are relatively thick on the ground and have extremely strong attacks.

Especially the crab-like [Fafurion's Henchmen] are extraordinarily fearsome monsters. They have a very slow, single-target Water Cannon attack that creates in all classes except Tanks a damage of several thousand points when they get hit.

This is the killer monster of the instance. The other monsters have for the most part AoE Water attacks and Stun attacks. If you should be thinking about using magical AoE attacks on the monsters, better forget that. It will be you that gets caught up in an Area of Effect storm.

Your main tactic here should be luring monsters. Fake Death, a Dagger’s Lure skill, everything works. The absolute priority is to pull the monsters apart and finish them off one by one. All the monsters have extremely high HP, therefore be prepared for long-drawn fights and pay attention to your MP management. The one bit of good news is that the monsters have a low resistance against Abnormal State of Mind attacks. You can Sleep them, Curse them and above all you can Silence their magical attacks. Use whatever you have – Root, Hold, Paralyze; the monsters will then be much easier to overcome.

But whatever you do, you will always be in need of a Cardinal and his or her Resurrection skill.

When you have completely cleaned out the room, two Crystalline Golems will spawn at both sides of the circular structure in the center. They will say "ah … I am so hungry …".

Now your task is to drop the Crystal Fragments from Eva’s Gift Boxes one by one on the floor in front of the Golems, thus luring them into t
he room opposite their spawn point. Don’t place the Fragments too far ahead of a Golem; otherwise it won’t perceive them.

Slowly lure the Crystalline Golem into the center of the side room.

When a blue light shines down you have succeeded.

After you have successfully lured both Golems into the side rooms, a door will open. Enter an meet [Tears], a lvl 83 Raid Boss.

A main problem in fighting that Boss is her high HP of 1,347,510 which means you have to hammer away at her for quite some time. Her physical attacks are nothing special, but her magical tricks really hurt; she can kill weaker classes with one strike. Apart from that she has an AoE Freezing attack that can immobilize characters near her for 8~10 seconds, an effect like Paralyze that she likes to cast quite often on the melee Damage Dealers tangling with her. If by a stroke of bad luck all the Damage Dealers should get frozen, the remaining Buffers and Healers will become her target.

When you have whittled down about 1/5 of her HP, Tears will show a new trick – multiplying herself.

All the Tears clones look exactly the same. If you want to find out which is the real one, you have to pay attention to two things. One is the damage that you are inflicting. The real Tears has an extremely good defense – you will hit her for maybe 50 or 100, 200 damage. Her clones have a much weaker defense, and with the same attack you will create a damage of quite a few hundred points. The other thing is the damage you are receiving. Getting hit by the Boss really hurts, while the damages her clones are causing are around 20 or 40. In a melee situation it is difficult to discern among the racing system messages who exactly has just hit you, therefore it is better to use the damages you yourself are inflicting to distinguish between real and false.
If your Cardinal is healing a lot, it may happen that one of the Tearses is picking him as her target, rushing out at him with the Tank being unable to Hate her back. That one is always the real Tears.
Another method is that immediately after Tears has multiplied herself the Tank uses Hate Aura. 6~8 clones will attack him, and with a probability of 90% the real Tears is not among them. Watch who of your teammates gets hurt most and you have the real Tears. The trick here is that the clones are freshly spawned monsters and have not yet accumulated hate points on any of the party members, while the real Tears is already set in her ways. If by some accident the Tank should be the most hated among Tears’ original hate objects, let the Cardinal do some more healing to lure her out.
When you have reduced Tears’ HP to 1/10, she will become Invincible. That word is not an exaggeration; Tears will become immune to general and skill attacks as well as any kind of debuff. Once she has gone into Invincible state there is no way you can inflict damage on her anymore. Now is the time to use your Water Dragon Scales.

According to NCsoft all 9 party members must use a Scale (best via a hotkey) at the same time, with a maximum time difference of 3 seconds. Everybody must huddle up as closely as possible to the Boss, then one party member counts down ("3, 2, 1, NOW") and everybody triggers their scale. You will probably not succeed the first time, but even in case of a a failure a Scale will be consumed. Therefore everybody should bring several Water Dragon Scales.
Players from all over the world have reported that they could break through Tears’ Invincible state with only 2 Scales triggered at the same time. Coordinating 2 people is easier than 9, and you keep more Scales for several attempts.
An alternative method is to use the Healer/Prophet skill Mana Burn when you have reduced Tears’ HP to 15%. Tears has only 1,777 MP, so you should be able to prevent her from casting her Invincible spell. But keep in mind that Mana Burn lvl 10 requires 103 MP. If luck is not with you, Tears may still go into Invincible mode and your Healers are out of MP. (If you start burning Tears’ mana early on, she will use her Freezing trick far less often).
If you succeed in killing Tears, every party member will receive a Clear Crystal as well as a Black Seed of Evil – Shard. The Clear Crystal is required later on when you have to challenge Baylor, while for the Seed of Evil Shards you can obtain S80 recipes and key parts from Blacksmith Ram who is located in the Emerald Square instance.
Source:
lineage2.gametsg.com/i…cleid=2989

When everybody in your party has an Impure Crystal from the [Dark Cloud Mansion], you can proceed to the Crystal Caverns. That place consists of three 9 person instances; when you have an Impure Crystal you can choose one of the three instances to enter. There is no prescribed sequence in which you have to do the three instances for the "Bird in a Cage" quest, but we would recommend that you start with the Steam Corridor, then do the [Coral Garden] and then the Emerald Square. The preparations needed for entering those instances are in that sequence increasing in difficulty. The monsters in the instances are all more or less equally difficult to overcome.
Apart from the Impure Crystal for general access to the Crystal Caverns, every party member needs for the Steam Corridor 3 pieces of Red Coral. If one of your party members is lacking one or two red Corals, he or she will be teleported out of the instance when you have fought your way half through. In that case there is no possibilty to rejoin the party.
Remember what the Symbol of Adventure in the Dark Cloud Mansion told you: you will find useful things in the Treasure Chests at the bottom of the central lake under Parnassus. Those "Treasure Chests" are actually called "Eva’s Gift Boxes", and in them are hidden the Red Coral pieces we need. Get the "Kiss of Eva" buff or the "Bless of Eva" potion, then dive down and attack the Boxes. If luck is with you, you will obtain a Crystal Fragment and/or a piece of Red Coral. The drop rate for the Red Coral is relatively low, so have patience and attack a few Boxes more. You need at least 3 pieces of Red Coral. And keep the Crystal Fragments. You will need them later on in the [Coral Garden].

Technically a party of 2~9 persons can enter the Steam Corridor instance, but of course we recommend that you form a full party. Merely 2 people won’t even be able to get the key for the main gate. To say it again, this is an instance. Several parties can enter at the same time and will find themselves in their own (identical) hunting ground. Most of the monsters in the Steam Corridor have Fire-backed attacks, with an extremely high M.Atk. against which you need not only really good jewelry but also Elemental protection buffs and a Sword Singer’s "Song of Flame Guard". Apart from that, a Spectral Dancer’s "Dance of Shadows" is absolutely indispensable. Therefore bring both a Sword Muse and a Spectral Dancer. Then you need of course a Tank, a Healer and a Buffer. The rest of the party should be made up of warrior classes. Every room in the Steam Corridor has a rather narrow time limit. You must not waste time by playing things safe but have to keep in mind the firepower when putting together your party.

Now, dive down to the Crystal Caverns entrance in the central lake, talk to the Oracle Guide and enter the Crystal Caverns. Everybody’s Contaminated Crystal will be consumed. In theory you can now spend 90 minutes inside, but the Steam Corridor has special restrictions (on that later more).

After you have entered the Crystal Caverns, talk to the Oracle Guide inside and ask it to open the door to the Emerald Square and Steam Corridor.

Walk down the hall, turn right, and you will see the main gate of the Steam Corridor. You can not enter at this time but must first get a key.

Deep in a side corridor there is living [Gatekeeper Provo], a lvl 81 aggressive monster that is accompanied by two [Gatekeepers of Fire].

Kill Provo and you will get a Red Coral Key.
Attention! This Gatekeeper has an extremely strong AoE Fire attack; if he sets that off three times in a row he can annihilate your party. Provo is even more fierce than the monsters in the inner parts of the Steam Corridor. If you have any way at all, try to Sleep or Silence him. Take out the Gatekeepers of Fire or use Sleep on them (they are very susceptible to Sleep) and then concentrate on Provo. If you can’t cope with him and there is the danger of your party being wiped out, one of you can pull him away. Provo is moving very slowly, so that’s relatively safe. The rest of the party can use the breathing space to regroup and then resume the fight.

When you have the Coral Key, return to the main gate of the Steam Corridor and enter. In that very moment the clock starts to tick – you have 5 minutes to clean out the first room.

Watch out for [Kechi's Guards], they can self-explode. And try to Sleep [Kechi's Captain]; Silence seems to have no effect on him. After you have eliminated all the monsters in the room, 4 sculptures, called "Eva’s Guardian Water" will appear. They are short of blood and you must heal one of them. Once you have restored a sculpture’s blood, you will have gained time for the next room. From left to right, the sculptures give 5, 10, 15 and 20 minutes.

We would recommend that you heal the second sculpture, the one that gives 10 minutes. You will need the others later on.

After you have healed the sculpture, an Oracle Guide will appear. Talk to it and have it teleport you into the next room.

Attention! For the first room you have 5 minutes. Before those 5 minutes are up, you must have entered the next room. Therefore don’t tarry and talk immediately to the Oracle Guide as soon as it spawns. If you are exceeding your 5 minutes, you can not proceed to the next room and will have to start on the instance from the beginning again.
When you enter the next room, a great number of monsters will be waiting for you right at the entrance. Therefore ask your Spectral Dancer to dance the Dance of Shadows. Otherwise your whole party might get wiped out.
Each time you get teleported into a new room, one of your Red Corals will be consumed. In the Steam Corridor you must teleport 3 times, therefore every party member must bring at least 3 pieces of Red Coral. Before you teleport now into the next room, you can still leave and reenter the instance; a Scroll of Escape will deposit you at the underwater entrance of the Crystal Caverns. But this is your last opportunity. With the following rooms there is no return after you have left.
The next room is a long-drawn rectangle with a great number of monsters near the entrance and exit ends, while the middle part of the room is a relatively safe place. Therefore we would recommend that you first move under the cover of Shadow Dance to the center and start cleaning out the monsters from there. Keep in mind, you have as much time as you have chosen by healing the sculptures before.

When you have eliminated all the monsters in the room, the remaining 3 sculptures will appear. This time you should heal the one on the right, which will give you 20 minutes for the next room; in there you have an exceedingly hard battle ahead of you. Do as before: have the Spectral Dancer dance the Dance of Shadows, talk to the Oracle Guide and teleport into the next room. Again a piece of Red Coral will be consumed.

The third room has a similar layout as the first one. Immediately on entry you will be confronted by a great number of monsters, with few safe places to sit down and rest. Your best option is to retire to a corner and start killing the monsters from there.
Attention! The monsters in this room have fearsome Stun skills. Therefore you must kill them as fast as possible, before they can use their Stun. If your Cardinal is not quick with Cleanse, your whole party might wind up stunned, to get roasted by the mobs at their leisure until no-one is left alive. This is a relatively difficult room. That’s why we would recommend that you choose 20 minutes, i.e. the longest available time from the sculptures.

After you have cleaned out the room, proceed to the next one. Heal the sculpture on the right, the one that gives you 15 minutes. Again a piece of Red Coral will be consumed.

The fourth room has a long-drawn layout. The monsters in there are extremely aggressive and have powerful attacks, but their defense is not as good as that of the monsters in the room before. First look for a free space, then start the slaughter from there.

After you have killed the last monster, the door at the exit will open by itself. in the next room you will meet [Kechi], a lvl 82 Boss. Here there is no more time limit apart from the 90 minutes for the whole instance. 5 minutes for the first room, 10 for the second room, 20 for the third room and 15 for the fourth room, that’s 50 minutes, which means you have 40 minutes (minus the time you needed for Provo) for Kechi.

There are two things that make this Boss difficult ot overcome. One is his ability to heal himself, at that time jumping up into the air, which means that his de-facto HP is much higher than t
he 338,150 given by NCsoft in his datasheet.

The other problem is that he can call an unlimited number of minions, [Kechi's Henchmen].

Kechi calls each time 10 of his Henchmen, who are also very hard to overcome. When those minions appear, the situation in the room tends to get out of hand. Support classes should stay close to the Tank. But even for well-armored Tanks it is difficult to withstand the Henchmen’s united Fire attacks. Water-based AoE countermeasures would be in order. Use the Dance of Medusa, Dryad Root or Sleep to immobilize some minions, then take out the rest. If you completely eliminate the Henchmen, Kechi wil summon a new batch after 2 minutes, and if you leave one alive, the Boss will equally call a batch. In other words, no matter how many you kill, Kechi will call new ones. Immobilizing them is the best solution.
After you have killed Kechi, every party member will get a Red Crystal and a White Seed of Evil – Shard. The Crystal is needed, together with the Clear Crystal from [Tears] and the Blue Crystal from Darnel, to challenge Baylor. The Seed of Evil – Shard is required by Blacksmith Ram in the Emerald Square, from whom you can obtain recipes and key parts for S80 equipment.
Remember, after you have killed Kechi, the Crystal Caverns with all three instances will remain closed for 24 hours. Use the time to get a new Contaminated Crystal from the [Dark Cloud Mansion] as well as Water Dragon Scales for the next instance, the [Coral Garden].
Source:
lineage2.gametsg.com/i…cleid=2979

Dark Cloud Mansion is a 30 minutes instance that requires a party consisting of exactly two players of level 78 or above. This place is the starting point for all of the Isle of Prayer quests: when you first accept the "Bird in a Cage" quest from Kanis at the southwestern end of the island, the quest target pin on the map will be at the center of the island, above the Crystal Caverns. At the Caverns, however, you will only be notified that to enter, you must go to the Dark Cloud Mansion first and obtain a Contaminated Crystal. Therefore, if you want to complete the three instances at the Crystal Caverns, you need to start here.

Since it’s a two-player instance, the monsters at the Mansion shouldn’t be terribly difficult to fight, but they do still have a substantial amount of strength. About half of the monsters inside are using magic attacks, the other half physical attacks; their main trick is stunning an opponent. Basically, it’s not very difficult for the two of you to fight against one, but combating two monsters simultaneously might be a bit tough, three or more might be even dangerous. It’s especially difficult when the two players are lacking in stamina: the instance has a time limit, giving no time for you to regenerate your MP and requiring you to keep fighting as much as possible. When configuring your party, pay special attention to your and your partner’s level and class. Just to kill the monsters in each room requires flexibility and a sharing of tasks (therefore a warrior/mage combination is best) as well as a willingness to spend major amounts of adena on Healing Potions and Elixirs of Mental Strength, and then you still have to tackle the "riddles" resp. games of chance. Keep in mind, if you fail you have to redo the Mansion from the beginning.
Quest starting point
A little island off the northwestern coast of the Isle of Prayer.

Talk to Archaeologist Yiyen.

Rewards
As you clear out the rooms of the Mansion, you will receive four clues that will be crucial to completing the instances at the Crystal Caverns.
You will also obtain a Contaminated Crystal.
Preparations
Bring Greater Healing Potions and/or Buff Potions.
Before entering the Mansion, you should ask others to buff you up first, so you can save your MP.
Healer classes should best equip melee-type weapons; it’ll be necessary for both players to unleash as much destructive power as possible.
Class combination
This instance requires a large damage output to gain time for solving the riddles, or in other words, you must kill the monsters as fast as you can. Classes that can inflict not so much damage (Healers, Tanks) should group with somebody who can unleash serious destruction, i.e. Fighters or Nukers. We would also recommend that a warrior (with slightly less MP consumption) and a mage (with a higher MP consumption) form a mixed duo. By skillfully switching between nukes and melee attacks you can better manage your joint MP pool and keep on fighting for the whole time without having to rest. Healers must contribute to the overall destruction by physically hitting the mobs, only then you can achieve a sufficient kill speed that leaves you the spare time for solving the riddles.
Steps
First have a look a the floor plan of the Mansion. The little red square at the bottom is where you get teleported in by Yiyen.

1. After you enter the mansion, you will be in a small room. The room will also have two Beleth’s Minions (the grey squares on the plan). After killing them, the door to the inner part of the Mansion will open.

2. As the door opens, two or three more of Beleth’s Minions will rush from the corridor. Kill them and walk along the corridor.
3. As you can see on the plan, the corridor forms a quadrangle with two of Beleth’s Minions (the little green squares) at each corner. Once you kill all of them, the Gate of Faith (on the left side) will open.
4. What you have to do in this room is simply to clear out all of Parme’s Healers (they are lvl 82 and passive).
Important: Attacking any monster at this time will close the door. Therefore, both of you should enter the the room first before attacking the water spirits. Also, Parme’s Healers will heal each other, so concentrate your firepower to avoid wasting time.

5. The Symbol of Faith will appear after you have killed the monsters. Clicking on it will bring up a clue for the Coral Garden instance at the Crystal Caverns – you need Water Dragon Scales to be able to cope with Tears. The door will now also be open for you to go back to the corridor.

6. Return to the corridor and, again, kill the eight Beleth’s Minions. The Gate of Adversity (on the right side) will then open.

7. The room has six Black Stone Monoliths.
8. What you have to do in this room is to select the gravestone-like Monoliths in the correct order.
This room is rather easy: click the stones in the correct sequence. When you have clicked a right stone, it glows up in blue, and you can then click on other dull stones. You have completed the task when all six stones are glowing. The sequence for the stones is random every time, so you don’t have to remember sequences clicked by other players.
If you click on a wrong stone, a Chromatic Crystalline Golem will appear and attack you. Therefore, it would be better not c
lick too fast or continually, or click in disorder with your partner, because every mistake will summon another Golem. A good way to keep things orderly would be for example one of you clicking in clockwise sequence, the other one counterclockwise.

9. After having clicked all the Black Stone Monoliths in the right sequence, the Symbol of Adversity will appear, and clicking it will open the door again as well as give you a clue about the Island Race, where you get the Secret Keys you need in the Emerald Square for the Parme rescue mission.

10. Again, eliminate the eight Beleth’s Minions in the corridor, and the Central Gate (at the top) will open.
11. Be careful when entering through this door; there will be six Beleth’s Minions (the little pink squares) inside. Entering rashly will do you no good. You should approach and lure the monsters slowly one by one.

12. The Gate of Adventure to the left will open after you’ve killed the six Minions.
13. Both of you should enter the door together.

14. This room requires you to clear off the obstacles blocking your way and clicking the Symbol of Adventure at the very back of the room.
This means an adventure through the Shadow Columns on the 5×7 dimensional checkerboard. The easiest way would be punching a straight path to the back. When you are clearing these chess pieces, they can react in various ways:
1. Multiply: The chess pieces multiply to two times the current number.
2. Self explode.
3. Become invincible. You won’t be able to eliminate an invincible Shadow Column. Try other paths and pieces.
4. Give debuffs that reduce your Attack Speed, poison you or decrease your Movement Speed.
5. Increase HP.
6. Summon Beleth’s Minions to attack players.
7. Ordinary counterattack (no special skills)

15. When you have reached the Symbol of Adventure and clicked on it, the door will open again for you to go back to the Central Hall. And you will get a hint about the Red Coral you will need later on in the Steam Corridor.

16. By this time, the six Beleth’s Minions in the Central Hall have come back to life. Eliminate them slowly and one by one to ensure safety.
17. After clearing out all of the monsters in the Central Hall, the Gate of Truth at the right will open and permit entrance to the last room.
18. There will be seven Beleth Samples waiting for you in the room.

19. This room requires you to find the three real ones among the seven Samples. It is the most troublesome of all rooms; all of the time you have previously saved is to be used here. Every sample will say something to confuse you. Real Samples will disappear when being hit, while saying some compliments; but hitting a wrong Sample signifies failure. You must then kill the wrong Sample, after which all of the Samples will reset, and then start over again.
It will be easy for you to be confused by their silly comments. Efforts to find patterns did not yield much success. Here are few tips:
1. Those who do not talk are wrong Samples!
Don’t hit the ones that do not talk. When you hit a wrong Sample, the right ones will mock you. You can find some patterns through this, but it doesn’t always work. Sometimes all of the seven will talk. You would then have to find three out of the seven. At lucky times, there might be two that do not talk, and you only have to choose from five.

2. Do not hesitate. Maximize your firepower.
To have a higher chance of succeeding, you need firepower. Not that you have to kill all of the Samples at once, you simply have to start saving time as soon as you enter the mansion. In this last room, don’t hesitate on which ones to hit and don’t try to analyze or find patterns in what the Samples are saying. Hit immediately one of those who talks. If you hit the wrong one, quickly kill it so the Samples can reset. The more time saved, the better the chance of guessing the right combination.
3. Hit the Beleth Samples physically when you are selecting one. Several players have reported that magical attacks don’t work. Once you have ascertained that your choice was wrong you can finish off the Sample with a nuke though.
4. Be aware that ultimately it all depends on luck!
20. After guessing the correct combination, you will obtain the Contaminated Crystal.

Afterword

 <
br />Dark Cloud Mansion is the outset for all of the Isle of Prayer’s intricate quests. The three nine-players instances at the Crystal Caverns all require a Contaminated Crystal as entrance ticket, and this Crystal cannot be collected in any other way. You mustn’t try to obtain a second one after you already have one on you, or the first one will vanish inside the Mansion. You must come back to the Dark Cloud Mansion every time you want to enter the Crystal Caverns, therefore requiring at least three visits to the Mansion for the Caverns’ instances. The Mansion also gives clues for items you need to comple the other instances.
Here is a video tutorial for the Dark Cloud Mansion instance:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-R_DjyurUA
Special thanks to ennaangel for discovering that video!
Sources:
lineage2.gametsg.com/i…iewboard=1
lineage2.gametsg.com/i…cleid=2976
www2.elliebelly.net/in…p;album=21

You have to do the Island Race to get the Secret Keys needed in the Emerald Square for the Parme rescue mission.
The aim of the race is to collect within 30 minutes 4 Race Stamps. The special thing about this quest is that it can only be done by one player at a time and each time 30 minutes are needed. Once a player has picked up this quest, there is no way for others to get in on it. Everybody must wait until the first player’s time is up, then the quest is available again for one new player. Therefore you must be quick when picking up the quest or do it, if at all possible, outside of the peak hours.

Quest steps
1) After a player has picked up the quest from Sailos, he will be given a timer that tells how much time is left. The quest must be finished within 30 minutes.

2) Move to the four Race Locations on the map and attack the Prison Guards. Sailos is standing near the bottom right Location.

Put simply, this quest is all about running! Run to the four Locations and hit monsters. Of course, if a player has four Summoner or Warcryer friends, he can ask them to move beforehand to those four Locations and simply summon him there! The Race Location in the upper right part of the map is the one that takes the most running, because it is in the Chromatic Highlands. But if you carefully pick your way, you can, more or less along the blue line, climb around the rock wall, thus crossing the mountains and directly drop down in front of the Race Location.

3) At every Race Location there will be three Prison Guards. Two of them will actively run up to the player and attack him, one of them won’t move; this immovable one is invincible. The aim is to attack the immovable Guard. You just have to keep on hitting him, then you will sooner or later obtain a Race Stamp.

Some simple tactics:
1. Storm in and attack hard. First kill the two mobile Guards, then hit the stationary one. (Suitable for characters with high P.Atk.)
2. Sleep the two mobile Guards, then hit the stationary one. (Suitable for mages)
3. Keep taking Quick Healing Potions. Don’t mind the other two Guards, directly hit the stationary one. (Suitable for characters with a lot of HP)
Keep in mind that only a character carrying the timer can attack the Guards. The Prison Guards won’t pay any attention to irrelevant bystanders. If players who did not pick up the quest attack a Prison Guard, they will be petrified. Only players who have picked up the quest can attack the NPCs and obtain the quest item. Because a Summoner’s creature has no way to get the timer, it will equally be petrified if sent to attack a Prison Guard. No matter what class you are, everybody has to attack the Guards with their own hands!
4) As soon as you have your Race Stamp, head as fast as possible to the next Race Location. When you have collected all four Race Stamps, return to Sailos and talk to him to finish the quest.

Each time you do the Race, you get 3 Secret Keys [in Chinese: "Keys to the Secret Garden"].

Those are quest items you need for the Emerald Square, they are neither tradeable nor dropable. In a party that has set out to rescue Parme at least one member must have done this quest, there must be at least 3 Keys in the party to be able to break through the Emerald Square. To be on the safe side we would suggest that at least two party members should do the Island Race before you set out for the Emerald Square. If one key holder should get disconnected or whatever, you then have a substitute and can go on without problems. Of course, if you are in high spirits every party member can do this quest.
Carol 16580, a Bishop, did the four Locations in this sequence: Sailos -> Chromatic Highlands -> Dark Cloud Mansion -> left side of Crystal Caverns, with a Summoner at Dark Clod Mansion, because once you have jumped down to the Highlands Location you won’t be able to climb up again. She killed the Prison Guards (Undead) with Might of Heaven and had 4 minutes left when she was back at Sailos.
Love 20604, a Gladiator, did it in this sequence: Sailos -> Chromatic Highlands -> left side of Crystal Caverns -> Dark Cloud Mansion. After the Chromatic Highlands he returned by Scroll of Escape to Heine, let the Priest of Dawn teleport him to Alligator Island, ran/swam to the Location on the left, then ran to Dark Cloud Mansion -> Sailos. He had 5 minutes left. He used Sonic Move to increase his Movement Speed.
Morceau21 did it with a Destroyer, three times in three different sequences:
1. Sailos -> Chromatic -> west side of Island -> Dark Cloud Mansion (Scroll of Escape)
2. West side -> Dark Cloud -> Sailos -> Chromatic (sneaking past the dragon in Dragonbomber-transformed state)
3. West si
de -> Dark Cloud -> Chromatic – Sailos (Scroll of Escape and Dragonbomber transform)
He got his Race Stamps all within 2 minutes, while tse207 had to beat on the immovable Guard for up to 15 minutes. And all without Summoner.
And Henry428 did the quest in 22 minutes by taking Greater Haste Potions.

Start NPC: Elven priest Kanis

Start Location: Southwestern coast of the Isle Of Prayer

Start Level: 78

Right now you have to swim to IoP. Fastest way is to port Heine and then Alligator Island. Then just swim straight to the IoP. It is planned that Noblesse will get a teleport destination from Heine at a patch.

2)

Kanis will tell you about the history of the Crystal Oracle. And about some Water Dragon etc (not going into detail if you want to listen to the storry line you can do so )

Bottom line from all the stuff he is talking is:

To reach “Parme” you must defeat Baylor, and to enter the Crystal Caverns you need a Contaminated Crystom from the Dark Cloud Mansion.

[Soon i will post guide for Dark Cloud Mansion which you have to do first!]

3)

The first step is to get a piece of Red Coral from the Treasure Chests at the bottom of the lake under Parnassus (The flying city above IoP).

Those are the entry tickets for the Steam Corridor a 9 person instance in the Crystal Caverns. When you enter the Caverns your Contaminated Crystal from the Dark Cloud Mansion will vanish.

Inside the Steam Corridor you need to defeat a level 82 Boss called “Kechi”.

The reward will be a Red Crystal

4)

The Crystal Caverns have a lock out timer from 24 hours after you have killed a Boss.

So in the meantime you should go and get a new Contaminated Crystal from the Dark Cloud Mansion.

After you have your new Contaminated Crystal you need to go to the Chromatic Highlands and kill around 40 Dark Water Dragons. You need the Scales for the Boss in the Coral Garden. After you finished that go back under Parnassus and attack the Treasure Chests until your party has about 30 Crystal Fragments, another item which you will need in the Coral Garden. Now you are prepared to enter the Coral Garden.

Go there and kill the level 83 Boss “Tears” and get a Clear Crystal

5)

So now you have the 24 lockout timer again use the time to get another Contaminated Crystal from the Dark Cloud Mansion. After that talk with Sailos at the southeastern end of the Isle of Prayer and do the Island Race Quest. You will get 3 Secret Keys, which you need in the Emerald Square.

After doing that quest go and enter the Emerald Square kill the level 81 Boss “Darnel” and get a Blue Crystal

6) With the 3 Crystals, Red, Clear and Blue, go kill Baylor. You will need Water Dragon Claws to break through his Invincible state, like with Tears. After you have killed Baylor and talked to Parme, return to Kanis and, if you feel like it, pick up from him the quest "That’s Bloody Hot!". This used to be the way to go to Hellbound. Nowadays there is a shortcut quest, to be picked up from Elder Casian in the Wastelands.
